Bengali Patriots
Following from the Bengali Patriots website.
The Bengali Patriots at George Mason University is formed to foster the relationship amongst our little community of Bengali people. The idea is to enhance our sense and knowledge of who we really are and where we really come from and to promote cross cultural understanding and international awareness. Our club organizes different social and cultural programs that students may take part in, and in the process get to know Bengalis from all over the world. We help students go beyond the academic walls and build a stronger sense of teamwork. Active participation in all these programs will make a student better prepared for a world out there, that is ever changing and a society, so rich in its ethnic diversity.
