HSC's Mission/Purpose:

What does it mean to be a Hindu? The answer to this question is beyond brown skin, or wearing a red dot on your forehead, wearing henna as a fashion statement, or even t-shirts with an Om symbol. Hinduism is beyond a religion, but also a lifestyle, a culture, a collection of traditional beliefs passed down from generation to generation, which continues to thrive today.
The Hindu Students Council strives to learn the answer to the question, “What does it mean to be a Hindu, and how does this apply to our lives?” HSC is comprised of students from various nationalities and cultures that come together to form a community that fosters Hindu awareness within ourselves and the university as a whole.
