George Mason University's new Loudoun County operation— Mason in Loudoun—aims to connect students and businesses in one of the nation's fastest growing areas to one of the Commonwealth's premier universities. The goal of Mason in Loudoun is to provide courses that will introduce the Loudoun-area workforce and residents to study in a number of exciting areas, while offering current students a local option toward completion of degree program requirements.
Mason in Loudoun offers course work in nursing, health science, education, information technology, and management, along with undergraduate general education courses. Full programs are available in several fields. The operation will rapidly expand its range of courses as student demand and opportunities suggest, and students enrolled in Loudoun will enjoy the same rights, privileges, and access as those on Mason's Fairfax, Arlington, and Prince William campuses.
In addition to having one of the most competitive freshman classes in the region, Mason is one of the largest transfer, adult, and graduate student destinations in the country. The university proudly maintains a wonderful articulation agreement with the Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) System, which permits students a seamless transfer to all of Mason's major programs. Graduates of NVCC's Loudoun Campus will find the offerings at Mason in Loudoun a particularly convenient option for their continued study.


DIRECTIONS TO LOUDOUN SITE (21641 Ridgetop Circle, Sterling, VA 20166)
From the East: From the Capital Beltway (I-495) go west on Route 7. Once past Cascades Parkway, turn left on Loudoun Tech Drive. Go two-tenths of a mile and turn left on Ridgetop Circle. Proceed ½ mile. Mason is on the left at the intersection with Horseshoe Drive.
From the West: Go east on Route 7 and turn right on Loudoun Tech Drive (about 10 miles east of Leesburg). Go two-tenths of a mile and turn left on Ridgetop Circle. Proceed ½ mile. Mason is on the left at the intersection with Horseshoe Drive. From the Fairfax Campus: Go west on Braddock Road (about 6 miles). Turn right on Sully Road (VA-28) towards Dulles Airport. Turn right on Nokes Blvd and go 1.2 miles and turn left on Ridgetop Circle. Mason is on the right at the intersection with Horseshoe Drive.
