We are a group of Christians who welcome everyone, sinner and saint, for Christ has made us one, regardless of societal divisions that seek to divide us. We seek to love God, to love others, to love those unlike us, to love our enemies, and to listen for where the Spirit is leading us.
Rooted in the Lutheran expression of Christianity, we believe that God loves YOU for who you are because of who God is. Our salvation rests solely in Jesus, who lived out God’s love among us.
We don't claim to have all the answers, but honestly live our questions together as we laugh, worship, play,love, struggle, pray, and joyfully act for justice for the environment and those who are hungry, homeless, or marginalized. This is what it means to love God and follow Jesus. It may be messy and odd, but we also think it's beautiful. Come join us. All are welcome!
Lutheran Campus Ministry at GMU is a Reconciling in Christ ministry welcoming and affirming ALL people regardless of prior religious experience, political affiliation, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or other societal divisions.
