The NCC SLG serves as the primary link between student s and Deans/administration within New Century College. SLG History :

The Student Leadership Group of New Century College was established in 1996 by the first class of NCC students. Its mission has remained the same in offering solutions for student issues and acting as a catalyst for student involvement and Academic empowerment. Many events that provide students the opportunity for social growth have come out of the leadership group as well.

For the past 5 years, the leadership group has, with the aid of faculty sponsors within NCC and the Center For Service and Leadership, pushed to promote the distinctly unique programs and experience that New Century College has to offer. However, the mission of New Century to "connect the classroom to the world" remains as a focus for the leadership group as well.
Currently we are a non-membership based organization with a standing officer committee and liaisons organized under an advising faculty member.
