Taken from the PSA website.
Pakistan Students Association at GMU thrives to promote the Pakistani culture within its community. It hosts a variety of events ranging in attendance such as an annual cultural show, which families and friends attend in the hundreds every year, to game room nights, which the majority of Pakistani students attend each semester. Being Desi ourselves and knowing how cheap we can be, PSA offers paid membership so its members can take advantage of the extra savings available!
Each paid member must pay an annual $5 membership fee which will allow him/her to get discounted prices for all PSA events throughout the year. The savings in ticket pricing ranges from $25 to $50 throughout the year. Also keep in mind that only paid members can vote at the Elections at the end of the year. To become a paid member please fill out the Membership Form available at the General Body Meetings or at one of the PSA Kiosks held throughout the year. Some examples of the discounts paid members received last year are:
-$15 Fall Show tickets compared to $25
-$7 Sitarbucks compared to $10
-Free Game Room Nights compared to $5
-$15 Hershey Park Trip [including transportation] compared to $45
